President
As cofounder and president of Profiles International, Bud Haney has been the driving force behind the overseas expansion of Profiles International. He was quick to recognize the potential for the company's products and services in emerging markets as well as in established ones.
Mr. Haney was awarded a baseball scholarship by Sam Houston State University where he earned a degree in accounting and was a four time All-American. Upon graduation, Mr. Haney signed a contract with the Kansas City Athletics. After his baseball career, he established a human resources development business of his own. His success led to an executive position with an international company, of which he rose to become its president.
In 2004, Mr. Haney was honored by his alma mater by being named to the Sam Houston State University Hall of Fame. The following year, he was named a Distinguished Alumnus by the SHSU board of directors and alumni association. Mr. Haney has been honored by Sales & Marketing Executives International by being named to its Academy of Achievement Hall of Fame and has received SMEI’s Pinnacle Award in recognition of his high achievements. He is also a recipient of the Certified Emeritus in Marketing from Sales and Marketing Executives International and is a Miller Heiman Strategic Sales certified trainer. Mr. Haney is a coauthor of the best selling business guide 40 Strategies for Winning in Business and Leadership Charisma, a new book written to help people harness their personal and professional charisma to improve their business and careers.
Executive Vice President, Chief Learning Officer & Chief Sales Officer
Al Rainaldi is the key to Profiles’ successful alliance partnerships and a major player in the company’s long-range strategic planning efforts. Mr. Rainaldi also coordinates with the senior vice presidents who head Profiles’ five sales divisions. He has been with Profiles International since 1991.
Before joining Profiles International, Mr. Rainaldi operated a management consulting business and prior to that was the president and owner of National Coal and Construction, Inc. His extraordinary business achievements were featured in an issue of Success magazine.
Mr. Rainaldi attended the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Southern California at Fullerton. He is also a United States Air Force veteran.
Mr. Rainaldi is a certified Miller Heiman trainer in both Conceptual Selling and Strategic Selling. He received accreditation by Sales and Marketing Executives International’s Accreditation Board of Trustees as a Certified Marketing Executive (CME). He also has completed training in Socratic Selling.
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Kistner joined Profiles in 1991 as an Area Director in New England before becoming an executive in the home office in 1994. Joe Kistner directs multiple areas of Profiles’ operations, including production, information technology, and product development along with being in charge of channeling new products from concept through production to sales.
As a member of the United States Navy, Mr. Kistner received technical electronics training. He was production manager, during a 10-year career, with a large semiconductor equipment manufacturer where he designed computer and automation systems.
Chief Marketing Officer
Dario Priolo is responsible for developing and executing Profiles International’s marketing strategy through his team of 15 professionals. This includes building awareness of Profiles International as a thought leader, generating leads, and developing creative strategies and tools to improve the productivity of the direct sales force, channel partners, international sales, and the new partner recruitment team. He is also the Managing Director of the Profiles Research Institute and is the creator and Editor-in-Chief of the Profiles International Management Journal.
Mr. Priolo joined Profiles in 2008. He has served as the Executive Vice President of Marketing and Product Development at Miller Heiman, an international firm known for its excellent sales training methods. Mr. Priolo was previously associated with the Hay Group, a global human resources consulting firm, where he was the Division Director of Sales and Marketing. Additionally, he was an industrial sales engineer with BHP in Taiwan, an investment banker with J.P. Morgan, and a strategy consultant with Deloitte, an international accounting and consulting firm.
Mr. Priolo holds a civil engineering degree from McGill University in Montreal, and an MBA in marketing and finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Executive Vice President – Enterprise Solutions
Mrs. Painter joined Profiles in 2005. Her strength and skill is in providing exceptional service to clients with 1,000 or more employees and creating successful global implementation plans. She manages the staging of outstandingly effective client workshops that produce measurable returns on investment that prove the efficiency and value of implementing Profiles’ products and services.
In her position, Mrs. Painter is a trusted advisor to twenty Fortune 500 companies and other clients. She helps her enterprise clients develop successful strategies and develop solutions to their business needs.
Mrs. Painter has a BA in sociology, with a minor in business administration and an MA in organizational management.
Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Kerry Carney is responsible for the financial, accounting, treasury and human resources management for Profiles, International, Inc.
Mr. Carney joined Profiles International in 2011. He previously served as the Vice President and Controller/Treasurer of Knowledge Universe, the largest for-profit education company in the United States. Mr. Carney’s career includes over 25 years of diverse business experience, including careers with Neiman Marcus, CompUSA, Eckerd Drugstores and Zale in various finance, accounting, treasury, audit and investor relation positions.
In addition to his professional career, Mr. Carney has been involved in the community, most notably the Oregon Food Bank, University of Texas Alumni Association and the United Way of Florida.
Mr. Carney holds a BBA in accounting from The University of Texas at Austin and a MBA in finance from the University of Tampa.
Chief Research Officer
Dr. Scott Hamilton leads Profiles' research and development team. He oversees all aspects of assessment development while supervising his team and the consultants Profiles engages for their expertise. Dr. Hamilton is charged with coordinating the development of new products as well as further refining the effectiveness of the company’s mature assessment products. Dr. Hamilton consulted for Profiles before assuming his present position in 1995. For decades he was a business consultant specializing in human resources, personnel evaluation, and related fields. He also gained experience as a staff psychologist and psychotherapist in private practice.
Dr. Hamilton holds a master's degree and Ph.D. in clinical psychology and counseling with a minor in research. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Association of Test Publishers, of which Profiles International was a founding member. He is also a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), the Association for Psychological Science (APS), and the International Test Commission (ITC). Dr. Hamilton is, additionally, an associate member of the British Psychological Society (BPS).
Corporate Counsel
Scott Haney joined Profiles International in 2000 after being admitted to the bar. He received a BS degree from Baylor University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from St. Mary’s Law School.
Mr. Haney is a specialist in contract law and employment law. Additionally, he has years of experience in negotiating contractual relationships with organizations that have formed alliances and partnerships with Profiles International.
