The Barbados-based Profiles Caribbean, Inc. (PCI) was established in 1994 to help organizations hire, train and develop the right people. The company is the Profiles International representative for the Caribbean. Its primary areas of focus are the provision of occupational assessment tools, Search and Selection services as well as Human Resource Consulting.

Profiles Caribbean Inc. has established 11 strategic partner operations throughout the region namely in Antigua, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Jamaica, St. Kitts/Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Trinidad and Tobago.

In 2000 Profiles Caribbean Inc. was the recipient of the first ever Profiles International National Director Award for Performance. This award was won again in 2002 from a slate of over 60 countries.

Peter Downes, Managing Director of PCI, has had a broad and successful career in business. A chartered accountant by profession, he holds an honors degree in accounting and is a certified member of the Society of Management Accountants in Canada as well as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados. Downes has over 17 years senior management experience and prior to taking the bold step to establish Profiles Caribbean Inc., he was the President and CEO of a leading life insurance company in the Caribbean.
